This Rhode Island residence is situated on a 400 acre plot, between a patch of forest and the scenic James Pond. The modern single-story, fan-shaped house was designed with this landscape in mind. Seventeen foot high clear glass windows provide uncluttered vistas of the surrounding lake and woods.

A shaded stone entry stands in contrast to the rear of the house, made largely of red cedar and glass which curves along the shoreline emphasizing the view and maximizing the natural light. The house is built from natural and locally-sourced materials, and is heated entirely through geothermal wells on-site.
