For the international project development and construction company, Skanska, BWA designed a 50,000 sf vehicle maintenance and pipe fabrication facility located in Queens, NYC. The design incorporates materials with lightweight properties and a high level of recycled content. The project was awarded LEED Gold status, employing daylighting strategies, advanced building insulation techniques and inexpensive materials.
